For Sale is my 1972 Gran Torino Sport. Fastback or "Sportsroof" body style. Runs and drives. Has 400ci V8 with C6 trans. Numbers match. Original 2 barrel carb. New plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and oil change . Clear title and good tags. Inside is pretty rough. Bench seat is in bad shape. Dash has splits, carpet is trashed. Windshield is cracked. Tail lights/brake lights quit working.Yes.. it has rust. Yes.. it's right where you wouldn't want it. Interior floor, trunk floor and drivers side rear quarter panel are the worst. Rear decklid needs replaced. I've tried to not be bashful about showing the rust in the photos. Exterior was painted flat black less than a year ago. ( I mean REALLY painted, not spray cans and newspaper, or black primer that will go bad in a few months). Car was originally red. Has old school slotted mags. Most of the chrome is there and in decent shape. If you're not afraid of sheet metal work, this would make a great restoration. If you don't want to do sheet metal, fix a couple of things and drive it rat rod style. I regret that I won't get the chance to finish this car because this one-year-only body style is getting harder to find in any condition, so I probably won't get another one.
