1970 Oldsmobile 442 Holiday Coupe 455 365hp 400 turbo 12 bolt posi all unmolested original. I bought this car about a year ago out of local estate. Car sat for years in a garage. The only thing missing when I got the car was the carburator. After getting the car home I pulled the intake to make sure nothing had fallen in or made a home in there. I found period correct carb and had it professionally rebuilt. Installed a new battery,fuel pump,plugs,cap,rotor,wires fresh gas and it fired right up. A new master cylinder was installed and a few brake parts to make it stop and was ready for the road. Car runs good,shifts good and actually drives down the road nice. The engine does smoke some out of the left bank after it's run awhile especially when your off the gas. Looks like this car was redone back in the 80's. You can see where it had filler put in the fenders and quarters ect. Most panels should be replaced to make the car perfect. Floor pans are basically solid,trunk has a small patch or 2 (see photos). Interior all original showing some wear and a couple tears. In the car I found what looks to be a copy of the window sticker and under the back seat I found a partial build sheet. Everything looks aged and correct a truly unmolested rare find. Rear trailing arms are boxed rear axle has sway bar. Trans tag reads 70-0g-4594. Original color Matadore red,white top,white interior. Odometer shows 75000 miles which looks actual but the executer to the estate marked the title not actual miles so we also have to sell it that way. I think the reserve price is very fair@ $7,000.00 which leaves plenty of room to restore this car to what it deserves. Restored correctly this car could fetch a huge return.
