Vehicle Detail

This car ran poorly when I bought it in 2005. My dad helped me do a tune up and it was better. In 2006 I sent the carbs to Apple Hydraulics on long Island for a rebuild and calibration. It was strong when I got them back. My dad drove it when we got the rebuilt carbs installed and it was fast. All 4 forward gears and reverse worked. A little bit of smoke from the tailpipe but what do you expect from a 40 year old car? It no longer runs. It is starting to show rust in my parents driveway, so I want it to go to a good home. Car has the original motor and transmission. Now it only cranks but will not start. My dad says it needs a fuel pump and new gas. Seats and carpet are in good shape. it comes with 17" ASR wheels and Goodyear tires. Air conditioning is strictly 2/55 (or 40 or 25, however fast you are going with the windows down). This could be your next project or parts car for an existing project. All the glass is intact. Interior is OK with lots of usable stuff . The front and rear bumpers are not on the car but I do have them, although the front bumper has a dent and the rear has no brackets. I don't have them now but I know where I can get some 14" steel wheel that you could have if you want them. I did hang a replacement left rear fender on it, but my workmanship leaves something to be desired. That was when I became discouraged and quit working on it.No warranty, no delivery. I can and will put a battery in it so you can see it cranks, but the battery stays with me. No reserve, highest bidder. On Aug-06-12 at 14:02:44 PDT, seller added the following information: I have added pictures at the request of a bidder. Pictures are of under carriage/ frame (?). Looks like a unibody car and you will notice some surface rust. I hit on the main supports with a hammer (not too hard) to see if they would cave in. They did not. I did, however knock off some of the undercoating as you will notice are "yellow" areas of paint (original body color?) on the "frame". There is a hole in the top of the "frame" rail on the passenger side right against the firewall. It almost looks like an access hole from the factory, but I cannot be sure and it has not rounded the corner of the frame as far as I can see. The last picture of this set of underside pics shows an engine compartment panel that has pulled away from the "frame". There is a lot of cobwebs on the underside and the POR-15 body filler in the passenger side floor and a bit in the "frame" by the right side sway bar. There is a small rust hole by the passenger side torsion bar mount. Drivers side "frame" looks very good when compared to the right side which doesn't look all that bad considering the age of this car. Overall in workable shape, or a good donor. The left front fender is a replacement not the original. I have also added pictures of the engine compartment. Nothing special, just to show its all still in there. On Aug-09-12 at 17:08:19 PDT, seller added the following information: This car does not have Air Conditioning. 2/55 A/C means 2 windows down at 55 miles per hour. Geeezz.....
