Vehicle Detail

Selling my 1970 Ford Torino GT Convertible. This is a turn-key driver in very good condition. While not perfect, it is a good-looking, sound, and straight-forward car... what you see is what you get. The car still retains its' original 302 V8 engine and C4 automatic transmission, and runs and drives very well. The original color was Grabber Green, which in my opinion is one of the best-looking colors for a Ford product... I had a '70 Boss 302 in this color and it was gorgeous. The car has been repainted in a good-looking blue/green, the name of which I couldn't say... looks like a Marina Blue or similar color to me. A good, sound "20-footer" paint job. The car turns heads everywhere it goes. I have recently replaced the brakes front and rear, and the convertible top (white canvass/plastic window) is less than three years old. I have the original glass back window and zippered surround that will come with the car if you want to go back to glass. I NEVER drive this car in the rain, and I ONLY drive it on nice days, so it's top is down all the time. That said, it goes up and down with the power switch as it should. It has BRAND NEW 2012 Ford 17" x 7" GT wheels, and 245/45/ZR17tire. If I do say so myself, the car looks great! Options include the GT trim, power top, power steering, power brakes, column shift automatic transmission, and full bench front seat with split back and headrests (looks like bucket seats from the outside, but you can seat three across the front!). Grabber green exterior over black interior, white top, black stripes... that's how she came... a very good-looking car now, but how much sweeter back in the original color. The car starts right up, runs, and drives well. Gets good mileage too. Could be used as a daily driver if you wish, but that takes some of the fun out of it. Body is overall straight; has some small dings and dents, and very minimal rust beginning in a couple spots; lower door corner, lower fender corner. Still under the paint and very minimal. Floors feel and look good from up and below. Chrome is good or better, glass is all original and very nice, interior is really good except for cracks in the dash *( I will include a second dash that is "almost" crack-free... could be made perfect for about $40.00 via vinyl repair person). New carpet kit, original everything else inside. All the gauges work. I would say that overall, this car is right at 7 out of 10 in condition. Clear title in hand. Selling as-is, but the car is exactly as described. She's an old car, but has weathered her life well, and still has lots of life left in her. You can call me at 360-936-9257 if you have questions that I've not answered, or for other pictures, whatever. I have the car listed locally, so I must reserve the right to end the auction early. Payment via bank wire transfer, major bank cashier's check (must wait for verification/authentication first), or cash. Transportation is fully the responsibility of the buyer. I will make myself available to facilitate loading, but other than that it's all on you.
