Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE I doubt that you will find a nicer 560SEC out there. It has had three owners since new, all of whom knew each other and desired to “keep the car among friends.” It has always been garaged and maintained. 1991 was the last year that the 560SEC was manufactured, and Black/Black is undoubtedly the most desirable color combination. The car is in beautiful condition. The paint has a great shine, and there is no rust and no dents. The interior could easily pass for that of a 3 year old car. The leather has no cracks and is still soft. The dash has no cracks in the padded portion or the wood portion. The wood throughout the car is virtually perfect as are the door panels, console, carpeting and floor mats. The car drives exactly as you would expect a top-of-the line Mercedes to drive. It starts easily and cruises effortlessly. The air-conditioning, power windows, power seats, trunk mounted CD changer, etc. all work properly. The car comes complete with the package including all of the original manuals, and the original first aid kit. The car also has an electrically activated hidden compartment (the location and operation of which will be disclosed to the new owner) that is suitable for carrying cash, jewelry, etc. The New York title is clear. The car is absolutely stunning, but as with any car that is over 20 years old, it has a few minor faults. 1. The power antenna switch must be pressed two or three times before the antenna reacts. 2. The bumpers have nicks in them. The car was garaged indoors in Manhattan, and this is an unavoidable consequence. 3. The sunroof works, but it makes some noise, so its usage is limited. 4. The headliner is starting to sag a bit, particularly near the rear window and the sunroof. 5. The hood has been painted because a belt broke and caused a small ding from the underside. The car is available for inspection by calling 516-524-4102. I am happy to assist with shipping. Thank you.
