My dad purchased this Republic in the 1960's. He said that it was about a 1917 or 1918. He purchased it so he could restore it. He was interested in antique trucks because his dad had a dump truck that he operated in the 1920s and the 1930s. He was also interested in trucks because he was in the trucking business from 1946 to 1985. Other projects kept crowding out his restoration project. His restoration project was still not started at his passing in 1997. There are no obvious welds or cracks on block. No damage to radiator. My dad purchased this chassis in California just as it is pictured here. It was moved to Oklahoma 1985 when dad retired. Buyer is responsible to make arrangements and pay for shipping or pick it up themselves. We can load this vehicle on your trailer or load it on transport company that you make arrangements for. The purchase must be paid in full before vehicle is loaded. Truck could be kept here for up to a month before picked up, as long as it was paid in full within 10 days of auction close. Must be paid by cash (in person) or by casher's check (United States Bank). magneto has a broke magnet (shown in pictures. Headlamps are gas lights. Engine is stuck, can not be turned over with crank.
