Hello, I am selling my 1999 Ford F150...I purchased this truck right here on Ebay in Oct. 2007 for my landscaping business. I sold my business last year, so now I am looking to buy a smaller vehicle. I purchased the truck with 130,000 miles and it now has 164450. I have maintained oil changes regularly with the last one in May. It also passed a NY State inspection in May. The problems with the truck right now are... rust along the bottom of the bed, the step rails and by the doors (both sides). I sanded what I could and put gray prime paint over rust, this is only a temp fix as the rust will start to show again. The truck will sometimes wobble at 40-45 mph because one of the rims is slightly bent...never found out which one. I have an extra rim so if it bothers you its an easy fix. It just really never bothered me. The front end is fine. Engine has slight tick at start up but goes away within seconds, engine is very strong. Transmission shifts pertect. The ABS light just recently stayed on due to a faulty/dirty sensor thats located on rear wheel. This will not effect results of an inspection or performance of truck in any way. And the odometer comes on and off. U-joints on drive shaft may need replacing, truck will vibrate at certain speeds once in a while for a few seconds at a time. The A/C does not work. The interior is in decent condition...the drivers side seat has a tear on the side. Tires look in good shape. I purchased them in 2009. This truck is perfect for anyone starting a business. The 4x4 works great and helped me out big time in the winter of 2010-11...never once got stuck anywhere. I also put a Reese hitch on rear for my landscape trailer. Its a truck with 164,450 original miles..of course it will have its share of problems, overall like I said before this truck has treated me very well for last 5 years, I feel it would go best for someone maybe starting a business or to someone who is mechanically handy.
