Re-listed due to non payment by a bidder - so if you have unpaid strikes against you - I have set the buyer rejection to block you from bidding - please go bug someone else. Sorry for the harshness but false buyers are a cancer on the body of ebay. I am a student listing this vehicle for my family's powersports dealership - all question will be forward to the store so please include your email or phone number so they can answer your questions. The vehicle was purchased for resale from an insurance company auction. Look at the photos closely but know this is an great looking S2000 - you just don't find them this clean and a body this nice. We do not know what the mechanical issues are - but the car is not running at this time. The S2000 is offered... as is where is.... and all sales are final. So keep that in mind as you bid. There was no condition report including with the car so we can't be sure of the damage. We have however surmised that it was bought a couple of months ago by a female driver who probably didn't understand the performance extras on the car and the location of the cold air intake - which was about 5 inches off the ground. We can only guess that she hit a puddle during a heavy down pour and injested some water. Again this is speculation but her drive out tag was in the car and it was USAA and it was jacksonville so if you know the streets there it is easy to run into standing water during a heavey down pour - she was probably in the military (USAA). These are not fact to rely on but they are our best guess. The title is salvage and it was obviously water damage to the engine that caused this status of the title. The car does not show any sign of being submerged in water - we did not clean the car up you see it as we bought it. It did not come with a key so we did purchase a key and key fob and the dash lights up and the powerwindows work just fine. This car is ideal for someone who like to work on engines As you.....Top condition S2000 with low miles and a great color combination will bring over $20,000 - which is a bargain for a car with this kind of potential. Low Price = Great Value. We will not end the auciton early but you will not have to pay $20K like KBB says they are worth - we are going to sell it....luck is on your side because this is a rare find and you can bid to own it today. Don't bother emailing and asking to end the auction early or what the reserve is - we paid the $50 for the auction format and we intend to auction it off. All sales are final - expect to pay at the end of the auction a $1000 deposit, and the balance with in three days by certified funds or wire transfer. No personal checks and no paypal for full payment -sorry. We will do the title work for a south carolina buyer for a $189 charge but must also collect $300 in sales tax to do so. This is an awesome looking car. If you want one of these for a project or a track car don't miss this one. These engines are easy to work on and the parts are readily available at very reasonable prices. The car comes with a cold air intake and performance exhaust. Some estimate these items at over $1000 to a total of $3000 including parts and installation etc... Mileage is 107,532 but is exempt as we are selling the car TMU -true miles unknown but it was listed as 105,033 in april of 2012 when she bought the car. If the jerk had just called and said I made a mistake or my wife doesn't allow me to buy it would have been so much easier to then to say no problem let me send the 2nd high bidder an offer to buy.
