Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This beautiful Porsche 914 is ready to enjoy on the street or at a day at the track. The Chalon body kit was professionally installed and the paint is new, so the car looks great. A rear reflector panel was installed between the taillights. There are no dents, scratches, nicks, or dings. The car rides on Fuchs wheels with BF Goodrich Comp T/A tires. The car is not a “concours” restoration, but it as nice as you will find for a car that is driven. The interior is predominantly original. A roll cage, Clarion am-fm-cassette/amplifier have been installed. The Targa roof fits on the car perfectly even with the roll cage. The seats are in good condition with two minor tears on the drivers seat. The dash has no cracks. Everything works properly including gauges, lights, power antenna, etc. A power trunk release was installed with a switch in the dash and that works properly as well. The radio functions, but has a noise in the background. The engine and transmission were both rebuilt before I acquired the car. Both function perfectly and neither leak. Twin Weber downdraft carburetors were installed and they function perfectly. They do not have a choke, so you have to keep the RPMs up for a short time until the engine begins to warm up. The undercarriage is in great shape. There is no rust and no signs of collision damage. New KYB Gas-A-Just coil-over shock absorbers have been installed along with new brakes, brake calipers, and a new Monza exhaust system. The car runs much stronger than you would expect for a car with a 4-cylinder engine. I suspect that the engine might have some internal performance work done. The sale of the car includes a car cover and an original (not a reproduction) owners manual. I have a Transferable New York State Registration, which is the correct document to transfer ownership. I'm open to interesting trades. The car is available for inspection by calling 516-524-4102. Thank you.
