This mustang is a '69 fastback. It began life as a 351 in April 28, 1969, it was originally Acapulco blue. I bought it from a Ford dealer in Nebraska with the intention of keeping it. If this car was a true production Boss 429 (approx. 600 made) the engine alone would be worth more than any most brand new car. The 429 engine was installed in 1991 in Nebraska at a Ford dealership and was rebuilt in 2006 at the dealership in Nebraska. It has C-6 automatic transmission with a 350 rear gear. The engine was not built to be a hotrod. The car is exceptionally quick and really strong. Original bone stock horsepower was 360. The paint is new and has the correct Royal Maroon color for the '69 Boss, the exterior is in great shape. The interior is in great shape as well. It also has the correct original Magnum 500 wheels with spinners and brand new tires. I've also added some chrome trim and new shocks. The car runs and drives great. I recently went to Fun Ford Weekend at Atlanta Dragway and this car got more attention than nearly all of the 85 cars in the show and it hasnt even been to the detail shop. There has been no cover up for rust because there is none and the engine compartment and undercarrige has not been touched or detailed as well.
