1985 Pontiac Fiero GT – IMSA Widebody – Very Cool Car Only 14K original miles ! 1985 Pontiac Fiero with IMSA wide body. Only 14,000 Original Miles. Car is mechanically fantastic. Engine runs very great. The engine is a stock fuel injected V6 with new high performance wires, cap and coil. Also has an oversized K&N cold air intake filter. Custom wheels (same wheels that GM used when the car was raced back in 85) with proper back spacing. Eight inch wheels in front and ten inch wheels on the rear with 4 new tires all around. Brand new brake rotors, new calipers and all stainless braided brake hoses on all four wheels. (over $1000 cost) All accessories work perfectly…..headlight doors, ice cold AC, cruise, remote engine hatch release, power windows and door locks, etc…. Factory (from a later year pontiac) radio with cd player. It's not cobbled up, it's a perfect fit. Speakers in headrests sound great and dashboard speakers are brand new Kenwood KFC-415C. Car is licensed and insured and have been driving it. This is not a show car. The car looks great at a distance but up close there are several small bodywork/paint issues. The body work was done when I got it and the paint job looks as if it was done in too much of a hurry. There is an unfortunate crack in the Driver front fender and in the front lower spoiler. See pictures to see issues with body. The large over the roof Air intake is non air functional but could be easily made functional. The interior is excellent. Pretty good for a 27 year old car. Only issue would be some deterioration on rear of headliner (cloth hanging loose in a spot). Only mechanical issue that I know of is the classic clutch problem Fieros are plagued with. It is hard to get into reverse or 1st without double pumping the clutch. I have purchased the all steel Clutch pedal but have not installed it yet.
