This 1962 Ford Thunderbird was given to me by my Grandmother as a sweet 16 birthday gift. It is baby blue with white leather interior. It has a tilt-away wheel and an air fan system. It has electric locks and windows. It has continental wheel covers, though it does not have the continental kit spare wheel. Everything is original. There are 30,984 original miles on the vehicle. It has a 390 horsepower engine. Due to previous exposure to the sun, the interior plastic on the dash and doors is sunburnt. The original white leather interior is intact. However, the strips of the seat of the driver seat have come slightly unsewn. It is a minor repair. the corners of both the driver and passenger seats closest to the windows have sunburnt patches approximately 3 square inches due to proximity to the windows. There are also four small rust spots. Two of the rust spots are below the passenger door and are about 4 square inches each. The third is just above the left back wheel and is about 3 square inches. These three spots have very little rust and are mostly just the absence of the paint. The fourth spot is about three square inches, but is shown by bubbled paint and is not yet exposed. it is located on the right rear panel above the right rear wheel, half way up the body. This beautiful classic is currently at the mechanics, in order to fix her sticky pistons so that she runs like a champ for her future owner.
