You’re bidding on a very clean, 2nd owner 1988 Toyota truck, with only 112,782 miles on it. It’s 2 wheel drive and has the desired 22R carbureted engine with a manual transmission. The truck has never been crashed and never needed any major repairs. I purchased the truck from my elderly neighbor who took very good care of it, and also didn't put very many miles on it. The truck was sitting a few years, so the carburetor has been rebuilt, a new master cylinder was installed, and a new catalytic converter was installed all within the last month. The truck is currently registered and passed the smog check in California with flying colors, just 2 weeks ago. Clean California Title in hand. The truck runs and drives great, and as far as I know it doesn't need any repairs. It has brand new 15x8” Crager wheels and almost new tires, 235/70R15 with 95% tread. The truck has a 3” body lift that can easily be removed if you prefer the truck at the stock height or if you want to lower it. The truck has a new chrome grill, new side mirrors, and a new chrome bumper and valance for a 1992 4-runner for a more modern/custom look. The interior is all original and in good shape for it’s age. The original seat is torn and could use a cover or be reupholstered. The truck was painted less than a month ago and it is custom 2 stage (base coat/clear coat) paint job that would cost around $5,000-$7,000. The truck bed was removed, and the truck was stripped down, so there aren’t any bad masking areas, none of the rubber has paint on it. The truck was block sanded and is very straight. It’s a perfect driver paint job the way it is. If your plans for the truck include showing it in your local car show, all you need to do or have done is color sand and buff for that mirrored show quality finish. The truck has not been color sanded, but it has plenty of clear coat to be sanded and buffed out. The truck was shot using all House of Kolor products, a famous brand that’s been popular in the custom car and show car market since the 50s. Since the truck has a custom mixed color, the truck also comes with a can of touch paint, in case of a minor fender bender your local body shop could make a panel repair. The truck also comes with the exact mixing ratios to recreate the exact color. It’s a medium silver with a high metallic content, and as you can see by the pictures it changes tone depending on the sunlight. The original paint was block sanded down to almost metal and the entire truck was primed using a high quality House of Kolor epoxy prime. The paint is a blend of a glamour metallic with particle size of 90 microns I believe, and mixed with a fine metallic of 40 microns. This gives the paint a nice effect and the larger particles will pop out and sparkle when the sun hits them. The clear coat is House of Kolor USC01 Kosmic Urethane Show Clear. To create this color: The metallic mix: 2:1 ratio 2 parts of BC02 Orion Silver Glamour Metallic to 1 part FBC02 Orion Silver Fine Metallic. 2 parts of BC03 Galaxy Grey Glamour Metallic to 1 part FBC03 Galaxy Grey Fine Metallic. The color mix: 3:1 ratio 3 Parts of your new custom mixed metallic Orion Silver 1 part of your new custom mixed metallic Galaxy Grey Any questions or inspections must be done before the auction ends.
