Vehicle Detail
Beautiful, original, second owner survivor Charger R/T, One of 332 4-speed Charger 440 Magnum R/T’s. Rare Light Gunmetal Metallic exterior (GA4) with Gunmetal and black interior. All numbers matching, original paint true survivor. First owner purchased the car new 2/7/72 in Steelville, Ill. I purchased the car in August of 2009 with 52,259 original miles, current mileage is 53,365. The car was assembled at the St.Louis plant. The car came equipped as follows: 440-4 bbl , 370hp , 440 magnum a833 4-speed Track pack (9.75” axle with 3.54:1 Hd power drum brakes 26” radiator Deluxe trim grade Woodgrain console Music master AM Lh remote mirror 3 speed wipers performance hood treatment Stripe delete, longitudinal (dealer installed after purchased new) 14” steel wheels with hubcaps. Original Owner details: The original owner lived on a farm with a gravel road, the bottom of the rockers are dirty and have the slightest sign of surface rust, no serious rust whatsoever. In it’s very first year, a shelf fell on the roof, causing cosmetic damage. The paint was blended in and is presently faded and obvious. The original owner ordered the car without the longitudinal stripes, but had the dealer install them soon after purchase. The original owner recovered the front and rear seats with the correct Legendary Gunmetal covers. The covers remain perfect. An aftermarket tach is on the column. The original owner replaced the 14” steel wheels with 15”x7” rally wheels with BF Goodrich tires, which are in great condition. The original steel wheels and tires are included with the car. The original spare is present. The original owner installed a tti exhaust, which is in very good condition. My Ownership details: The headliner has a hole above the driver’s side visor. I purchased the original color perforated material from Original auto interiors and have it new in the box. The carpet was in need of replacement, of which I purchased new carpet from Original auto interiors. I also purchased new floor mats from Legendary. Current Condition Specifics: The car runs great and is in perfect running condition. The only thing that does not work is the horn. The car was heavily undercoated from the factory and the undercarriage is very clean and dry. No rot anywhere. The trunk is in perfect condition without any rust or issues. The glass is very good without any damage. The Chrome is very good. The grills and tail light surrounds are undamaged and complete. The body has a few dings and scratches, these are listed below. Driver side front fender, no damage Driver side door, small ding towards rear Driver side rear quarter, no damage Trunk lid no damage Passenger rear quarter, no damage Passenger door, ding towards the top Passenger front fender, ding by pentastar, ding by “T” on R/T, ding/scratch under marker light. Front Valence, small dents on left bottom Roof had a shelf fall on it when new and was painted, which is faded. The interior is near perfect, door panels are great, the drivers armrest has a split in it. The dash is super nice, without any cracks or sun damage. With the installation of the new headliner and carpet, the interior will be absolutely perfect. Documentation included: Galen Govier docs (registered and fender tag decoded) Original window sticker Build sheet I have many more pictures available and can provide them on request. Do not ask about the reserve, as it is an auction. Please do not ask what I will take for the car, as it is an auction. Although I will consider offers.
