This 1960 MGA was a Florida car before it was shipped to me in California. The car had obviously been restored, and given the excellent condition of the engine, probably rebuilt. However, I was not able to contact the previous owner via eBay. The body was, and is, rust free condition with good fit and smooth, straight body panels. The engine and transmission are sound and strong. I have driven it to numerous car events locally and in state-wide events that reach into Nevada, Oregon and Washington. It's a car that is well enough turned out to be displayed and shown but runs so well as to be a great club-events car.It has been well maintained and much improved with new parts, such as new carpets ($240), trunk and spare tire carpets ($255), stay-fast side curtains ($926), and side curtain bag ($214), new brake lines, new heater core, new coil, new fuel pump ($170), MG floor mats ($124), new seat belts, wheel rings ($70), new disc brake calipers and disc turned ($288), new starter ($119), new generator ($159), new starter switch, regulator and a Joe Curto carburetor rebuild ($375), plus over $2000 in countless small parts needed for a good quality restoration update. All receipts available for serious bidders. This is a car you can drive regularly, yet be proud of in looks and condition. Other Notes: The leather seats are original and in good condition. The paint is a good quality repaint by previous owner using what I think is a Lexus pearl-white color--very similar to Old English white. There is a 2-inch tear in the canvas top near the side of the windscreen that has been repaired by my upholsterer. The tires were new when the car was shipped to me and are still in good condition.
