1997 Dodge Ram Van 3500 5.9 L engine - 8 passenger w/ wood platform bed Pick up in Uxbridge, MA...close to the RI and CT borders Van was purchased in 1997 w/ 18000 miles from a rental company. Used by mom w/six kids putting on an average of 8,000 miles per year. It was originally a 12 passenger van, but the rear 4 person bench seat was removed and a custom platform bed was installed for sleeping or two tier storage in the back. Now seats 8, no mattress or futon is included. Runs solid. New front brakes were installed last month. Right upper ball joint was replaced at last Massachusetts inspection 7/11 (expires 7/12). The AC has not been working for 3 seasons, never had it checked to see what was the problem. Needs new emergency brake, the cruise control randomly stopped working a few months ago, heat line to the back was re-routed. Small accident in back, but we have towed a small pop up camper with no problems with the hitch. Some rust areas, window film is peeling in a few places. Cloth seats, remote door open/lock. Kids have grown and driving themselves...no need for something this big. More photos will be posted soon. Feel free to ask questions.
