I got this truck from my Dad 5 years ago and at that time he had owned it since 1997. It was a daily driver, but he is an old hot rodder and wanted more punch so he had a 440 built and swapped in professionally at a local racing automotive shop in Florida.After I got it, I decided to restore it as much as possible so I gutted the interior and put in heavy duty Dynamat padding on the floor and rubber flooring. It also has Dynamat behind the kick panels on the doors and the door panels. After I did the flooring, I had the original seat and kick panels were upholstered. I took it to a paint and body shop and they removed the factory trim and wheel well trimming and put on the custom paint. The following is what I have replaced with new parts: front and back glass, windshield wiper arms,door handles (inside and out) grille surround, headlights, taillights and taillight housings, door panels, seat belts, steering wheel, custom turned dash, custom gauges, custom made aluminum gas tank (with custom gas level sender), new wheels, new tires, new brakes (rotors and drums), new battery, new Holley carb, new MSD billet distributor, new wires, new competition Hooker headers. The truck is about 95% done related to cosmetics. The only thing left is possibly a headliner and there are a few metal areas inside the cab that need to be painted for it to be perfect. It came with factory A/C, but doesn't currently have the compressor, etc. I usually drive it to work a couple times a week if the weather is good ,otherwise its stays in the garage because I always keep it washed and waxed. Mechanically, its perfect. It runs great, it shifts great, and the 4 wheel drive works. It idles with a lope and the specs are: Cam Lift- intake .320 exhaust .320, Valve Lift- intake .480 exhaust .480, Lobe Center- 108 degrees, SAE duration- intake 302 exhaust 302 Dont email me on the side or try to work a deal outside of Ebay. I will accept PayPal or if you want to travel down to Fort Benning in person you can bring cash or we can go together to one of the local banks like Bank of America, Suntrust, etc and they can cash your check or hand me a cashiers check. Bottom line is the truck and title wont leave my possession until the payment is in my hand or you go with me in person to the bank and we work something out (cashiers check, etc).On Jul-09-12 at 16:53:03 PDT, seller added the following information:Details about the transmission: The trans is rebuilt 727 Torqueflite with shift kit out of a large motorhome and the converter is a rebuilt model for that same trans. About two years ago I had a posi-traction from Yukon Gear and Axle installed (YDGC9.25-31-1). Also had the bearings replaced. The rear is a 9.25 and it has 3.73 gears. 4 Wheel Drive: is engaged from the inside the cab so you DO NOT have to get out of the truck and lock the hubs.
