This 1974 Plymouth Duster Hot Rod has been my baby for 16 years. I got it originally from my grand parents, and they were the original owners. Everything has been restored or replaced on it by me. The car is in Excellent condition. I take it to shows, and it has brought home 6 "Best in Show", 6 "Best Paint" awards, 7 "Best 70's Car" awards, and 7 "Favorite Mopar" in just a few years. It runs, drives, and performs perfectly. Get in and DRIVE. Every aspect of this car has been gone through. You will see lots of extra little touches that make this car simply amazing. This was appraised at $19,200 2 years ago. Now for the specifics: Body: Shaved and smoothed bumpers, door handles, and marker lights. Paint is a Chameleon paint, switching from purple to red and copper - called Multi Tone from Martin SR. Tinted windows. New front glass. Inner fenders in the engine bay have been smoothed and painted black. New seals around glass. Bumpers have been painted body color. Nice chrome around side glass. Running Gear: Engine is a 400 horse power 318 block with 360 J heads. 274 Extreme Energy cam, roller rockers, Keith Black .30 over pistons, 10:1 compression. The heads have been fully ported and polished and the deck has been milled (to get better compression - 58cc chambers). RPM Air Gap intake. All the ports are matched and milled to fit heads, causing better flow. Holley 670 Street Avenger carb with electric choke. TTI headers with custom exhaust with X-Pipe. Flowmaster mufflers. Power steering. Mopar Performance valve covers and air cleaner housing. MSD distributor, coil, and 6A ignition. Tailor wires. Aluminum radiator. Trans cooler with fan. Power Master 1-wire alternator. High torque mini starter. Fancy aftermarket coolant tank. New battery. Transmission is a 727 with lock-up converter. Shift kit installed. B & M star shifter. Rear is a 8 3/4 with 3:23 gears. Newer brakes all around. Nothing leaks on this car. I used to work in an engine machine shop and now am a mechanic who owns his own shop - I know how to build 'em right. Interior: Black interior with 1972 Duster vinyl bucket seats with custom Twister logo sewn onto seat backs. Dash has been painted black and the dash pad has zero cracks. Tach on column. Custom made "Duster" floor mats. All door panels, arm rests and such in great shape. Headliner in great shape. Grant steering wheel with Plymouth horn button. All wiring has been replaced with a Painless Wiring kit. Tri-bar head lights with Halogen Bulbs. New Bushings in suspension. Newer shocks all around. Rear shocks are air so you can give it more of a rake if you want. Wheels are Centerline Tel-star wheels 15x7 and 15x10 with new tires and Pentastar valve caps. Car ran a 13:89 in quarter mile (my first time down the track, haven't tried it since but I'm sure it would go much faster!) I have the mileage at 15,873 but the odometer is original. I probably have put on 5,000 in the last ten years. Depending on where the winning bidder is located, I can possible arrange delivery of the car via my friend with an enclosed trailer.
