Vehicle Detail
1977 Volkswagen Beetle Coupe Attention Classic Beetle Fans!! Here is a great option for your consideration. This is a last year German Beetle. A U.S. model Standard Volkswagen Beetle or “Bug”. In my opinion this was the best car of the entire run. It is also rare. You will not find many 1977s for sale…If any. Super Beetles are much more common and less desirable. They lost the classic lines in that version. This car has all the classic appeal, it is fuel injected, and has the 4-Speed Manual Gearbox. It is finished in its factory color of Viper Green Metallic and has Black Basket Weave Vinyl Interior. This Beetle is a survivor. It has not been pulled out of a field and refurbished to run again. This little car was kept in good condition and loved since it was brand new. Most of the receipts for a life of service are in its thick ownership file. It runs really well. It starts easily it does not smoke or drip oil. The clutch works exactly as it should, the linkage shifts through the gears effortlessly, and the suspension and brakes are correct in all manners. The tires all match and have excellent tread depth. They show no signs of cracking. This Beetle does not wonder on the road or rattle or whistle wind at speed. I have a blast driving it. Like many of us, my first car was a Beetle and I do have a soft spot for them, but I know a good one from a bad one and this is a great one. It is not new though. It is not a show car either but it gets plenty of attention. The paint looks good.. Not perfect but great from a few feet away and perfect for a car of this vintage and value. The interior though is fantastic!! The seats look brand new. The carpet is perfect too. The headliner has a few patches I pictured but other than that you will be impressed. I am setting the reserve low and expect the car to sell. Most of my auctions end because a buyer calls me and we work out a price and I end the sale. If you have a serious interest in this Beetle, write me or call. Otherwise, someone else will and this car will vanish from eBay before you ever get around to bidding. Also, Zero feedback bidders must call me before bidding. I will cancel your bid otherwise. I want all bidders to understand that if you bid you may own the car. I require a $1,500.00 Pay-Pal deposit 24 hours after auction end with the rest due inside 7 days and before pick up of the vehicle. If you do not have a Pay-Pal account, please get one before bidding. I can hold the car indoors as long as you need for shipping. Also I am happy to answer any and all questions by phone or email so please ask away. I am well verse at international wire transfers and have shipped cars all over the world. Thanks for visiting my auction. Justin 503-969-5127P.S. The car was just used in a fashon shoot so I am including some of those pics for fun.. The model is not part of the sale:)
