Vehicle Detail

I bought this F-150 in 2002 with 98,000 miles on it. It now has 180,000 miles on it. It has been, and is, a reliable and comfortable vehicle. Options include: 302 4 speed automatic power windows power door locks air-conditioning 4wd sliding rear window automatic front hubs power mirrors tilt steering wheel The factory hubs work. The infamous problem with the transfer case shift linkage seizing up on the pivot has been taken care of. I removed the linkage, had it welded and installed two grease zerks and reinstalled it to make sure it doesn't happen again. In 2010 I replaced the front gas tank and one of the supporting straps. I also replaced the radiator and the alternator. It was about this time that I replaced the oil pan but I do not have the receipt. I also installed new brake lines about this time. From 2007 I have receipts for; an air flow meter, 2 spindle hub oil seals, a shock and two ball joints. Although I only have a receipt for two of the tires (2010 148,000 miles) I can get a receipt for all 4. Last winter I removed the entire interior, shampooed, cleaned and reinstalled it. The air conditioning works as do the power mirrors, power windows, power door locks. It needs; rotors up front, the driver's side interior door handle is broken and the windshield is cracked. It has always had a firm shift into second. It hasn't been problematic for the last 82,000 miles so I'm not worried about it now. The rear gas tank leaks and I do not use it. I am selling this vehicle because I inherited an s10 that has half the miles on it and I don't need two vehicles. Again, it has been an excellent vehicle and I would continue to drive it if I needed it. Ask questions BEFORE you buy. Don't be afraid to ask for pictures. If you wait until after the auction ends IT'S TOO LATE. It's located north of Chilton Wisconsin on the west side of hwy 57. DO NOT ASK AT THE HOUSE ABOUT THIS TRUCK. THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT IT. . I have the title stamped as PAID by the bank. It was paid off years ago. The bank failed to notify the Wisconsin DMV. If there are ANY questions please ask. You will need to plate this truck. I can't afford the possible liability of an accident with my EXPIRED plates on the truck. Sorry about the repeat descriptions. My error.
