Vehicle Detail
2001 Toyota Tundra 4x4 Access Cab. I purchased this truck a few weeks ago for my crew to support me on an ultra marathon. This truck worked out beautifully for this. Here are the details that I know about. I was told by the dealer that the timing belt and water pump have were replaced in the last 10k miles. I replaced the shocks and struts, replaced the stereo with an aftermarket CD with AUX port for Ipod/Iphone. I had a fuel treatment done. I had the A/C serviced, it is blowing nice and cold. The temperature button is broken - The mechanic told me this is something that could be purchased from the dealer for cheap, I haven't explored this option. The temp can be adjusted by moving the dial manually that is directly behind where the broken button is. Truck appears to be running great! It starts right up and runs like it has 30k miles on it. The tires are in great shape, appear to be fairly new. The interior is in good shape, no major blemishes - it does show some wear and tear that you would expect from a vehicle this age. The exterior isn't in the best of shape, its not terrible looking - but its definitely not mint condition as you can see from the pics. It does have some light rust along the front bumper and a couple smaller rustish marks along the door opening, nothing major and I don't feel it really detracts form the overall look of the truck. I personally found the look charming, I could take it into the mountains and not worry if I brushed up against a bush or not. The 4x4 system is amazing on this truck. I was truly impressed on its capabilities. I would love keep the truck but my wife says it must go. I haven't owned the truck long so I don't know the history. I don't know much about cars/trucks so I won't be able to answer any technical questions. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Thanks for looking
