Up for auction is a beautiful, RUST free 1966 Ford Mustang, A code with the numbers matching 289. This is a true desert car, and you will not find any rust on the car anywhere! The floors and trunk are beautiful. This is one of the cleanest cars that I have ever owned. The car has a great running, original 289 with a Edelbrock carb. It's backed up by a smooth shifting C4 automatic transmission. The car starts right up, runs great with no leaks and no smoking. The car was painted a few months back, and sports a new interior too. This car is a daily driver, and not a show car. She runs great and you can drive her anywhere. The car will be sold to the highest bidder as there is NO RESERVE!! DATA TAG INFO: 6R07A149340, 65A, T, 26, 04A, 71, 1, 6 ENGINE/ TRANS: The engine is a great running 289 with a 600 cfm Edelbrock carb. The car has power steering, and dual exhaust. I just tuned her up to include, new cap, rotor, plugs, wires, and a oil change. She alos received a new fuel pump, and a new water pump recently. The radiator is a 4 row that was rodded out about 6 months ago. She runs great, nice and cool with no visible leaks from the motor. The motor is backed up by a smooth shifting C4 automatic trans, that is trouble free. The car has manual drum brakes that all work well, and the car stops nice and straight. INTERIOR/ EXTERIOR: The interior has lots of new parts like new seat upholstery in the front and rear, new carpet, and new door panels. The dash has a cap that looks great. All of the gauges work, blinkers work, windows all rool up and down correctly too. The doors open and close like they should with working locks. The quarter windows have new weatherstripping, and the doors have some new window felt too. I replaced the drivers roof rail weatherstripping but, have yet to get to the passenger side. I will try to take care of that but, if not it will come with the car, along with any extra items that I have laying around. The headliner doesn't have any tears and looks good but, it was pulling away from the windshield so I reattached it. The interior is very clean overall. The exterior was painted a few months back to a beautiful red. The car received new fender emblems, 289 emblems, new hood emblems, new antenna, new bumpers front and rear, new hood lip molding, and that goes great with her very straight body lines. Doors open and close just fine, and all the windows are in good shape. INFO: The car is being sold "AS IS " due to the fact she is 46 years old. She is a very nice daily driver type car that is in very good condition.
