Vehicle Detail
History: I bought this car in 2005 as a project here in Jackson, Wy. I believe the car has only had 2 owners before me. I had the care shipped up to The Auto Works in Bozeman, Mt where it has been COMPLETELY restored. The project had taken 4 years, but they did an outstanding job. Once it was finished I had it appraised by Auto Appraisal Group Inc.for a value of $21,000. (I can include a copy of the official appraisal certificate and restoration receipts with the car) The project cost a total of over $25,000. This is a car worthy of show. Restoration: I have included before and after pictures of the restoration. It was a complete frame-off job. Every nut and bolt has been replaced. If you would like more pictures of the restoration I can provide them upon request. The Body - The frame was painted, some of the components were cadmium plated, there was very little rust and no dents on the original body. The car has been painted the same color used for the 2008 Corvette. Comes complete with a hard top, new soft top, tonneau cover and top boot. The Mechanics - The original transmission was solid and did not need a rebuild, but the engine has had a complete overhaul and paint job. The original carb has been replaced with a Weber DCOE side draft. All the electrical has been replaced with a new wiring harness. The Interior - Everything has been replaced! Extras and Added Features: I have a 5 page list of parts that have been replaced so I can't list them all, but some of the added features are worth the highlights. -Weber DCOE side draft carburetor with both filter cap or dual horns -Electric fixed water pump fan -Aluminum valve cover -Monza dual exhaust -Car cover -Stainless steal threshold plates -Hard top, soft top, tonneau cover, and top boot -Walnut shift nob -Mahogany steering wheel -Owners manual, Haynes Repair Manuals, Restoration Paperwork and official appraisal booklet. -I have a speaker box behind the seat with 6” speakers and a pair of 2” speakers in each glove compartment. Unfortunately I had not been able to find a radio that fit the classic look of the car. Overall the car looks fantastic and drives even better. It has plenty of power to get up and go and I have had no trouble keeping up in traffic on the freeway. I will only accept a cashiers check and the buyer is responsible for shipping.
