We are pleased to offer this rare restored luxury-sedan from Mercedes-Benz for a great price. It has been in the same family since it was new, and has been consigned to our dealership on Monday the 21st of May. This 300SE was restored by the family at a cost of $7300 in October of 2011 as a surprise to their grandmother. The vehicle was donated to Hospice when the grandmother was admitted to HFA earlier last month. We are selling this car on behalf of Hospice, a great volunteer-led charity that cares for people living with life limiting illness and provides medical care and comfort. The son provided Hospice with pictures and information on some of the work that was done on the Benz in October of last year. The A/C system was serviced and the dryer assembly was replaced, the transmission was fully maintained and serviced, the coolant and brake fluid flushed, the fuel injectors serviced (as a preventative maintenance), a brand NEW fuel pump was installed, European style lighting was added for added night visibility ($1,150), the seals around the front windshield and rear glass were replaced, even the vehicle trim was refinished (including outer door handles and all the trim components were removed and refinished individually), the interior leather and wood panels were reconditioned throughout, a brand NEW CD changer was added with the dash interface (full CD Player manual is in the glove box), even the aluminum wheels were restored to a brand new condition. All windows are operational, Sunroof motor and tracks were serviced, and brand NEW tires were placed on the car with maybe 300 miles on them. In addition the undercarriage and suspension are in a very good condition. The paint work is beautiful, with attention to detail and multiple sparkling clear coat finishes. The chrome and stainless trim finish is very good for the year. However there are minor marks on the front and rear bumper and a small paint crack at the L edge of the hood. This Benz was transported seasonally between Canada and Florida, where the family's winter home is. It has on the cluster Dual Miles/KM displays (if the odometer in KM then it might have ~110k miles). Overall, this vehicle has been totally refurbished. You can't go wrong here, considering we started with a luxurious and economical Benz that won the highest customer ratings in the JD Power Sales Satisfaction Index four years in a row.
