Vehicle Detail
Vehicle information ...This vehicle was purchased used with only 282 miles on it in 1997. I removed the original engine and installed a crate motor for drag racing, and also installed a super charger (had to make a larger hole in the right inner fender but I have the replacement part see picture of extra's). The original engine has been reinstalled. The stock fuel cell was replaced with a regular gas tank which is still on the car. The interior carpet and trim were removed and I installed a 6 point roll bar, battle boxes and anti-roll bar with pivots (bar removed but pivots still in place). Installed weld-in sub frame connectors and a bolt-in drive shaft loop. Also, installed an automatic transmission for racing but the original Tremec is back in the car. Most of the car was returned to stock - carpet and trim returned and in great condition (no holes or stains), sub frame connectors and drive shaft loop still installed, original clutch pressure plate installed. The stock gears were 3:27 with 28 spline axles. I installed 3:55 gears with 31 spline axles (those are still in the car but I have the stock gears and 28 spline axles). Stock axles, gears & fuel cell will go with the car. I have the original tan floor mats and bought the black one's that are pictured so the tan would not get dirty. Both sets are included. After restoring car to stock about 800 miles later the check engine light came on which is related to the passenger side O2 sensor. I replaced the O2 sensor but still get the light, I have not been able to figure out the problem. The car starts with no problem and runs the same as the day I got it. The paint is not a show room finish but there are no major flaws except for the back bumper where a nail scraped the plastic (see picture). This car was #100 of 250 made and it is definitely not a Garage Queen. Has never been driven in winter or snow. I have the window sticker and the certificate from SVT and various other paperwork and information I have collected about the car (this all goes to the buyer). There are also some extra parts (radiator hoses, degas bottle, engine oil cooler, water pump, K&N filter, etc. see last picture) that will go with the car.
