Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Up for bid is 1966 A Code Mustang that is in very restorable condition. I have a free & clear title in my possession. Originally this pony came from the factory a Vintage Burgundy Metallic with a 4 speed toploader transmission (code is HEH-BW 66 Mustang 289), 4 barrel carburetor, 3.00 rearend, and air conditioning. There is a console that came with the car when I bought it but I am not sure if it was factory installed although it appears to have been. In my estimation this vehicle has about 95 % of the parts required to be complete. As you can see by the pics both front and rear frame rails are in excellent shape, the floors will have to be replaced. The trunk area is in pretty good shape as well but will need some attention as will the area just behind the rear window and just forward of the windshield. The wiring is complete from the front to the rear the only bit of wiring I’m not sure about is the wiring for the air conditioning but I believe it is there (I don’t have a wiring schematic for a 66 Mustang). The factory shifter for the toploader is present with the exception of the shifter knob & handle. There is no gas tank, it has drum brakes on three of the wheels the passenger rear is missing the brake parts and drum. The driver’s door is rusted out on the bottom but I believe it could be saved (I think it is the original) and the window regulator for this door is broken however, I believe I have a spare that will work I will have to check. The grill in the pictures is broken on the driver’s side I feel it can be repaired. There is a drive shaft and A/C condenser that are not in the pictures but are included. All the splash shields are present as are the headliner rods and sun visors. The fenders, deck lid, passenger door are in very good condition. The hood is usable but will need work, the roof is solid and so is the firewall. The rear window, both quarter glass, and both door glass are present there is no windshield. The quarter panels at the bottom will need attention primarily the driver's side. I had the block check by a local machine shop and it is standard bore but will require boring. This is an excellent candidate for restoration it has a solid foundation and some really cool options. Below is the information from the VIN & buck tag.
