2003 Mercedes-Benz 500SL 2 Door Roadster I bought this 2003 Mercedes-Benz 500SL new from Fletcher Jones Mercedes-Benz in Newport Beach, CA. It has been garaged and I have never let anyone smoke in the car. I love my car and I am only trading it in for the newer model. I am a preferred customer at Fletcher Jones and most of the services have been done by their service department. All records with John Derbyshire at Fletcher Jones. The “Hard-Top” convertible roadster is best car I have ever had. It is super quiet; just like a non-convertible. With a quick push of a button, I have the top down and the smell of the ocean blowing through the car. The car is in great shape and the paint is in good condition. The engine runs good and was checked over by Fletcher Jones. Buyers are asking about the accident on the report. I hit a mattress that had fallen off of the car in front of me. There was very little damage. The only piece broken was the front plastic piece on the bottom. It was fixed by the local Mercedes dealer and I can get the records from them showing that there was no other damage.
