1970 Pontiac Grand Prix, 400 cu-in V8 model “J.” This auction was ended and car relisted as it overheated right before delivery. Buyer was refunded winning bid and I am relisting it. Unfortunately I ran it low on water and it overheated. Engine has knock when cold. Mechanic says it may be the rod bearing. knocks when cold and under light throttle. I do not have time, space and money to deal with rebuilding engine. NEW power steering pump, radiator, water pump, new camshaft (276/288 dur, .465" lift @ 1.65:1 rocker), new timing gears, electronic factory ignition system, Edelbrok 4bbl 750cfm carb / manifold. New carpet, trunk mat, hood insulation, door rubber (needs to be installed) new A/C compressor and dryer. converted to R134a Dent on left fender and rear quarter panel. This car has been garage stored for most of its life. I have documentation from Pontiac Historical Society. Car was shipped to to Louis Fharm Pontiac in Downey, CA on 12/16/1969. I have reciepts for more than $2475 just on the upgrades. current milage 25,210 (odometer is accurate but the speedometer reads 10-15 mph slow due to a tired spring).The factory radio is rebuilt and now has MP3 connector.On Jun-25-12 at 09:44:28 PDT, seller added the following information: note that odometer reads 25,210 and most likely rolled over once. *actual mileage is not known*
