Update: I just returned from a month of training. Sorry if you tried to reach me while I was gone. Since original posting below the vehicle has been driven around quite a bit in Oregon. Starts up great every morning and drives around great. Still a bit cold blooded but fine once warm and I also have a brand new carb I will sell with the truck. This is a Rare 1982 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ43. It is an 82...it would not except the foreign VIN and had to list it older than an 81 to get it to accept it. I try to keep up on the sale of FJ43s within the US and when I last did some research trying to count them a year ago there are probably less than 12 in the entire US. I am a Land Cruiser enthusiast and have owned quite a few and my FJ43 is the only one I've ever held onto for any length of time as it is such a blast to own something so unique that is still extremely useful for daily driving and trail riding. The FJ43 is a longer body version of the FJ40 that was sold within the US in the late 60's, 70's and early 80's. This was originally from Colombia and has some surface rust but all of that can be seen in the photos. One small portion on a fender that has a small bubble. Frame is spot free and interior is clean. The last FJ43 to sell on ebay a couple of months ago went for $69,700. This was a soft top version. I have a rare hard top that can only be found in a few countries and this one is actually one that I had never seen before and was only produced for a few years in Colombia as the other versions were more popular. This has integrated ram air vents in the roof that flow to the front and rear passengers to keep them cool. It also has integrated spots for speakers so you don't have to chop into your cab and you can actually leave it stock and still have music. I also have a soft top with soft rear doors and bows that can be included for an additional price but it is actually for my own personal FJ43 that is being restored with a diesel conversion. This is not a restored version but I have restored a Land Cruiser to a frame off restoration and you could customize it to your specifications and have a 100 point car for less than half of that cruiser that sold a couple of months ago.
