1969 Ford Galaxie 500 CoupeUp for auction today on eBay is a really nice rust free Ford Galaxie 500. It has the 390 V8 and an Automatic Transmission. The car runs very strong and sounds like it may have a mild cam shaft for added power. It burns rubber at will. The transmission shifts perfectly and the car does not leak oil or smoke at all. The Galaxie has fresh paint that is maybe a year or so old. The door jams are still the original color of greenish gold. The paint job is pretty good actually. There is a bit of missing trim around the back. The interior needs a bit of attention but not a ton. The carpet is good and so is the back seat area and door pannels. The front seat needs recovering and the dash is cracked. The brakes work perfectly and the shocks and suspention are in good shape too. The exhaust sounds exactly like it should. The lights and wipers work too. All this car needs is a little more cosmetics to be a really nice ride. I was impressed by how straight it is. The lack of rust is a rare and great thing.
