1978 MERCEDES 240 D: Up for auction is a 1978 Mercedes 240 D 4 door vehicle. There is NO RESERVE on this auction. The Mercedes is a light blue/pale blue in color with silver/chrome trim 4 door vehicle. The vehicle is a 240 D and is diesel. There are 231,610 miles. The Mercedes is missing its driver's side rim/hub cap, the front Mercedes emblem has been stolen (darn), there is rust on the vehicle and the leather seats do have some rips/tears in it. We started the vehilce which does start and run just fine. We drove the car around the parking lot and it has difficulty in changing gears (may need a new transmission or transmission part/s) You have to remember - this is a 1978 vehicle and we are listing with NO RESERVE!! This would make a great project for any vintage Mercedes lover.... The car does have a Pioneer am/fm cd stereo in the dash, Fusion 450 watt amp in trunk, jumper cables in trunk, tire lifter in trunk, replacement lights for vehilce in trunk, and a mini air compressor 150 psi.. **** If the auction goes over $1000.00 we will also throw in a Tom Tom GPS unit - BRAND NEW with vehicle!!!
