FOR PARTS OR RESTORATION -- Bring a trailer! I bought this from a relative, planning to fix it up. Then I found that the engine is frozen up, and getting it running is going to take more time than I have available. Mileage: eBay forced me to enter a number in this field. 09598.5 is what is showing on the odometer. Obviously, there should be a "1" or maybe a "2" in front of that, but who knows? It's a 52 year old car. It has a lot of miles. A lot. CONDITION: You can see the condition in the photos. There's a good bit of rust, as the vehicle sat in a field for a number of years before I got it. It hasn't been licensed or inspected since 1982, so it's been sitting for many years. I took the front seat out, but it's stored indoors. It will take some work to get this running, but the good news is that it is very complete. One of the tail lights is broken, but I have a replacement unit that hasn't been installed. The floor pan is rusted out and will need to be replaced. It has the original oil-bath air cleaner and 12v generator. All of the chrome trim is there, and all of the glass is in good condition. TITLE: READ CAREFULLY! This car previously belonged to my wife's father, who gave it to one of his friends. After he died, my wife's mom purchased it from that friend but never did anything with it and never had the title transferred to her name. I bought it from her. I have a title, signed by the previous owner but not notarized. Getting a clear title in your name will depend on the rules in your state. Had I kept the car, I was going to get a title via a mechanic's lien. This has the V-8 engine manufactured by Studebaker (later models used General Motors engines). It also has the fairly rare 3-speed with Borg-Warner overdrive. You might be able to get it running without pulling the engine, but it really deserves a complete rebuild. SAVE THIS CLASSIC FROM THE CRUSHER! I just don't have the time to put into restoring this car. I'd hate to see it go to the crusher, but I really need to get it out of my back yard. So I'm selling it with no reserve. Come and get it!
