Very clean and sharp looking - and somewhat rare - 1972 Ford Ranchero GT. Very will equipped from factory including factory air conditioning (currently not charged, but has been retrofited to run with new refrigerants), POWER WINDOWS and FACTORY AM/FM 8 TRACK STEREO. PS, PB, Automatic - very powerful 400 2BBL V8! Has real chrome wire wheels that look great!!!! Full GT options including special GT hood with intake bulge and complete factory gauges in dash. Black vynal seat with fold down center armrest and headrests with no rips or tears. I have owned vehicle since the late 1990's. Car recieved a very expensive repaint approximately 20 - 25 years ago, original color was a medium green metallic and the owner changed the color to its current maroon color. Excellent repaint, even everything under the hood and inside doors was painted in the new color at the time. Has a couple extremely minor chips and the bed has been used - but this Ranchero could very easily be make perfect and shows pretty outstanding as it is now! You'll get lots of looks and compliments - I had it on the freeway last week and 2 seperate groups of people were taking photo's of it as they were next to me, it looks that good! Car has always been, and has continually been, registered in Northern California - has original "blue plates" that you never see any more! The body, underside and frame never has had any rust. The body is in outstanding condition with absolutely no sign of any body filler anywhere, all panels are straight and true. Car currently is garaged in San Francisco. Mechanically much has been done!!!! Car has brand new heater core and radiator/cooling system that literally was just installed! ENTIRE FRONT END/SUSPENSION HAS BEEN REBUILT. Brakes, battery and tires, etc are all in very good shape. Practically brand new dual exhaust system that sounds GREAT. Engine runs great and loves the freeway. I have always run vehicle on Mobil One synthetic oil and changed often. Engine does go through a bit of oil and I am not sure if it has ever been rebuilt or not - but no smoke, runs real smooth and powerful and all cylinders have proper compression. I have no hesitation with driving this car anywhere in Northern California, it recently was on a few hundred mile trip up the coast and back with no problems at all. This car is a BARGAIN, especially compared to period Chevy El Camino's, and with the GT package combined with rare options and this vehicle always being a California car, it would be very hard to find a similar 72 Ranchero GT like this one!
