Vehicle Detail
For sale: 2004 Ford Explorer Sport trac. Read Carefully! This vehicle has a Salvage title. It has not been converted to a rebuilt title. I am selling this due to recent health issues. I started the reconstruction and all driving related issues have been taken care of. There is minor body work left. I have all receipts, and vehicle documentation. I have the salvage title, and original bill of sale. I will assign ownership based on this documentation. The new owner will be responsible for obtaining rebuilt title in your state based on whatever rules and fees assessed to get it. This vehicle was hit hard on the left front wheel driving it into the drivers floor board. I had it put on a frame machine and frame was within original tolerences. Due to prior bottoming out I had it pulled back into tolerence for camber and put camber kits on both sides. It drives out beautifully. I have put mileage on the vehicle, but have another instrument panel with 82000 miles on it. The paper work says 87000 plus change. The vehicle had the lower control arm and steering knuckle and rack and pinion replaced with LKQ parts. It also has new tires less 5000 miles, new control arm bushings on all 4 control arms, new front brakes, and wheel bearings. The left caliper was replaced, as well as an LKQ brake booster. It also has a new clock spring. The air bags did not deploy. What remains to be done is listed as follows. - front bumper cover 2.0 hours body time- rear cover 1.0 body time- hood 1.5 hours body time. It dropped on a tool, and it blistered the paint at the body line on left side of hood. Sorry about that.- 2.0 hours body time for general alignment front bumper rebar, core support, apron, and left fender.- 1.5 hours for running board bracket alignment. (might be easier to replace)- and paint time for front and rear bumper covers, and hood. I love this vehicle and it runs out beautifully, but due to upcoming surgery I am unable at this time to complete this project. I will not give it away due to I can part it out and get all invested back, or I will pay to have it converted to rebuilt. This would be an excellent vehicle for export. Check your local state rules for converting title. A $500.00 non refundable deposit due within 48 hours of winning bid, and remainder due within 1 week.
