This is an excellent and very solid 46 Mercury! Appears to be all there except for glove box door! Sat since 2002 and fired up quickly after adding clean fuel. Great oil pressure and no smoke. Took for short drive....... brakes feel ok, clutch had a little chatter at first (rust?), temp stayed good, had patches years ago below door sill, frame is great, trunk is very solid except for one area on right side as shown in pictures, trans shifted good, lights work. As shown paint is oxydized and was repainted many years ago. Interior is original as shown and has wear. Floors are solid. Great start to restore, hot rod or use as a fun driver for shows etc! Lightly buffed a couple areas and paint does have some shine to it! It's hard to find a Mercury in this shape with all the parts still on it! Floor still has some original paint showing! Storage is no problem for awhile and I will sell to New Zealand, Finland and Sweden! Mileage shows 74562 and quite possibly is original, if I find out it is I will post here if not figure as not actual.On May-23-12 at 05:12:57 PDT, seller added the following information: The floor rust is only a small hole on the right side about the size of a half dollar. The pieces you see in the trunk pictures are from the original brittle floor mat not metal. Trunk is solid! I have been told sometimes I describe cars too honestly!
