Vehicle Detail
I have up for sale my EARLY '99 Ford F-250 Super Duty. This has the fully forged engine known to handle 500hp and still be a daily and reliable driver. I installed a Kenwood head unit, all new Kenwood speakers, Full 4" MBRP turbo back exhaust with a 5" Aussie tip also from MBRP. All new tint has been installed in the truck 35% on driver's side and passenger's side and 20% in the extended cab area. I installed a "add-a-leaf" 2.5" leveling kit from Skyjacker along with 18 Moto Metal 962 wheels(yet to see another truck with these wheels) wrapped in 35" Dick Cepek tires (which have 98% tread left on them), new Warn locking hubs with a life time warrenty, trans temp and egt gauges in the driver's side A-Pillar and TS Performance 6 pos chip bringing the hp up to 400-ish and 750 ft-lb of torque, I also did a custom paint job on the grille to help "black out" the truck a little more. I change the oil every 3k-3.5k miles and the fuel filter every 10k miles. This is my baby and I don't race, don't sled pull and I really don't go "mudding". This truck is a beast and I get a lot of compliments with it. I'm downsizing now that I've moved to GA because I don't use the truck like it should be. This thing is still a true work horse and I have zero doubts it will be a million mile truck. There is only one con with this truck, I rear ended a suv and and did a little dent to the front bumper, other than that the truck is really clean and does really well on the highways, I drove it 6 hours to Jacksonville for training and I couldn't hear the stack much and the AC kept me nice and cold! I've put 2 new batteries in the truck, a new starter and before I bought that truck a new turbo was put in and alternator. On Jun-08-12 at 18:12:20 PDT, seller added the following information:The truck was bone stock it's life till I purchased it a year ago, most of the mods I did to it are only 3 months old. The wheels, tires and leveling kit are were done in March and the chip, exhaust and A-pillar gauges were done in Feb. The trans feels really strong, I believe the owner before me put one in not too long ago. When I do drive the truck I use the 50 horse setting just to give a little more response getting on and off the highway, I do mostly highway driving to and from work. If you have anymore questions please ask!On Jun-10-12 at 08:34:48 PDT, seller added the following information:I've been getting questions on how the diff, trans and engine look as far as leaks. The truck has ZERO leaks, the underside is spotless and tomorrow I will upload pictures of the frame and underside of the truck, I want my buyer to have 100% confidence that this truck is solid as a rock and tracks perfectly down the road. The diff is solid and the LSD still hooks up strong, I checked the fluid two months ago when I did the oil change and it's still right below the fill hole like it should. The transmission doesn't even have a seep anywhere on it, dry as a bone and shifts solid, checked the dipstick and the fluid is still bright red and looking good. as for the engine, the truck has zero leaks around it and the oil level is never low. I take a lot of precautions to make sure everything lasts on my truck, in the winter I used diesel 911 to keep the system from gelling which causes poor lubrication and can reduce the life of the fuel system and piston rings. When it warms up i like to put 2 stroke oil in with a full tank of diesel to help the injection pump stay lubricated. I check the oil at every fuel stop and change the fuel filter at every 6-8k miles. I'm selling the truck because I don't use it and I need the money to pay some debits and to go back to school. On Jun-11-12 at 05:03:30 PDT, seller added the following information:Got some pictures of the diff, trans, engine and underside of the cab/bed. It's been raining 2 days straight so I didn't want to lay on the ground so I got a few snap shots before I had to head into work. The trans pan has rain water splashed up on it no leaks lol.On Jun-19-12 at 12:31:11 PDT, seller added the following information:I removed the reserve, I'm moving soon I and I need the truck sold.
