Vehicle Detail
Up For Sale/Auction is a **Like New** condition 2004 Special Edition Boxster S in desirable GT Silver with Cocoa top and interior, and best of all, with only 6,677 miles! This is the much more desirable six speed manual transmission version. I purchased this car on August 14, 2008 from Momentum Porsche in Houston as a certified pre-owned vehicles. It was a one owner trade with just 4,802 miles at the time of my purchase. It has all books and records, including window sticker, all keys, and a clear Missouri title in my name. I have not had one single issue with the car. It starts, idles, accelerates, steers and brakes exactly as it should. All systems work as new. It has not been modified in any way. The interior is in new condition with no flaws; the seats are as new with no cracking as they have been treated with leather conditioner on a periodic basis. The exterior is as new as the miles would indicate with just one pencil eraser sized chip in the right rear fender (not a ding, just a nearly unnoticeable paint chip.) There are a half dozen very minor imperfections in the nose area. The chin is not damaged by parking blocks. The top is in new condition. It is missing the plexiglas wind deflector which fits between the roll hoops. I never received this from Momentum Porsche. Even though the car has super low miles, it is exercised regularly. The car still has its original battery, and is kept on a Porsche battery tender when not driven. It is not driven in the winter unless the streets are dry and clean (i.e, no salt, no snow.) It is currently being used daily as I have recently sold two other vehicles. This is for sale as my wife and I are planning on purchasing a SUV for a vacation home we are planning to purchase. I am a 55 year old long time car fanatic (not a dealer now or ever.) My passion is air cooled 911's even though none of those performs like this car. I was about to sell this car in 2009 when I was pending a 911 purchase but my wife liked this car so much that she coaxed me into keeping it for her. Needless to say, she does not drive it enough to justify keeping it. This is a fantastic car that needs nothing. It has never given me one bit of trouble. It does not leak any fluids. I just put a fresh coat of wax on it and treated the seats so it is ready to go to its next home. Last year I removed the wheels and thoroughly cleaned the inside and outside and put a coat of wax on both sides. There is no curb rash on any of the wheels and the tires are the originals. Details about the car from the window sticker: 2004 Boxster S Special, GT Silver Metallic, Cocoa (Dark Brown), Porsche Base Model, $59,900, Cruise Control, $570, Bose High End Sound Package, $795, Destination Charge, $765, Total Price, $62,030. Note: The chip in the rear right fender is actually smaller than a pencil eraser head (about half that size); it was touched up before I bought the car, and it looks the same today as it did in August, 2008.
