Vehicle Detail

1969 The auto companies were all competing for sales of their muscle cars.Ford introduced a new mustang style the Mach1.Sharp-sleek and many people consider the sharpest Mustang ever made. These cars are still very popular today, and they hold their value very well. This Mach1 still has the numbers matching original engine that has only a few miles on a professional rebuild, its a 351 windsor with a weiand aluminum intake manifold, new holley double pumper carb ,msd ignition system and a comp cam.FMX automatic transmission and full posi rear end.It is an original A/C car,its not working but I have the pump-condensor etc that comes with it.It is an original disc brake car and now has been upgraded to four wheel disc brakes with a rear disc brake kit.The outside body shell, hood trunk etc were stripped to bare metal before paint and had no rust and no patches. The front floors inside/trunk /shock towers etc were professionally repaired/replaced before I bought the car.The car was originally wimbleton white but is now candy apple red with the correct flat black textured paint on the hood etc. This car has been almost completely restored with new front suspension, ball joints dual exhaust shocks,wheels-trim rings-center caps bf goodrich radial ta tires, bumpers etc the list goes on and on.I have been buying parts and working on this car for almost 4 years. The car is almost completed but needs to be finished for the road.I have only test driven it for a few miles because it is not registered.During assembly it got a few minor paint nicks that were touched up.It needs some minor finishing touches, tires balanced/frontend alignment/new holley carb needs adjustment and a choke cable/timing set ,the brake light is on probably because it does not recognize the 4 wheel disc brake system, fuel gauge dash lights ,not working etc.I installed new aftermarket gauges sitting on the floor because I did not trust the factory ones with a brand new engine. It is missing a few small partsThe door glass trim channel ( it holds the door rubber around the top of windows on the passenger side)The piece on the back of the passenger side windows where the front and rear windows come together. The factory radio is not hooked up and is missing the knobs. The outside of the heater control. The factory clock. The emblem on the gas cap.The horn.A small piece of chrome on the bottom of the grill,I bought new grille chrome but they left a part out. I do not have a title, the state of Maine only requires title on vehicles 1995 and newer,so it will be sold with a bill of sale.I will help with the paper work if neccesary if your state requires a title.I just registered to help show proof of ownership. The odometer shows 67,157 miles, true miles are unknown. The car will be available at any time during this listing for you or an independent third party that you hire to inspect it in person. before you decide to buy.It is a 43 year old car so it will be sold as-is no warranty of any kind is expressed or implied. If you have any questions-want more pics or whatever just ask.I f shipping is needed I will work with the shipper to get it loaded etc. and can store it in a locked garage for 2-3 weeks. If you need it stored longer please contact me. If you are looking for a sharp ,classic, rust free, numbers matching engine Mach 1 and can do a little finish up work for a very good price here is your chance. Many may not realize what this car is worth.Price guide as of april 2012 from my insurance company hagerty.com Feel free to check values yourself. #4 cars are daily drivers, with flaws visible to the naked eye. The chrome might have pitting or scratches, the windshield might be chipped. Paintwork is imperfect, and perhaps the fender has a minor dent. The interior could have split seams or a cracked dash. No major parts are missing, but the wheels could differ from the originals, or the interior might not be stock. A #4 car can also be a deteriorated restoration. "Fair" is the one word that describes a #4 car. current value 4/2012 $19,200 #3 cars could possess some, but not all of the issues of a #4 car, but they will be balanced by other factors such as a fresh paint job or a new, correct interior. #3 cars drive and run well, but might have some incorrect parts. These cars are not used for daily transportation but are ready for a long tour without excuses, and the casual passerby will not find any visual flaws. "Good" is the one word description of a #3 car.current value 4/2012 $27,100The car needs to be finished but it is also mostly restored with no rust/no rot/ etc so it easily will be between condition 4 to 3 I reserve the right to end this listing at any time if needed as this car is also for sale in the local market. For those wondering, yes it is for sale again. I had many people very interested in it but had been taken by other vehicles sellers on ebay. Please do not include me with the "bad apples".My feedback does show this car as sold once. The transaction was canceled ,ebay system shows it as a completed sale.To make a long story short the top bidder held out all week and at the last minute retracted his bid leaving the next person as the winner.because of this I agreed to excuse the sale if he paid the cost of the auction. Also I have sold 5 other classic cars in the last 7 years with no negative feedback. As listed above you are welcome to see the car or hire a 3rd party to inspect it at any time during the listing. If you have questions/want more pics/etc just ask.If you are serious contact me for a number. Please ask questions etc. arrange financing if needed, shipping, before you use buy it now or make an offer.
