Vehicle Detail
This is a custom vehicle that Centurion Motors in White Pigeon, MI produced with the help of Ford. They were sold through the ford dealerships and as far as I know every part that could have been a ford part was. Centurion basically had full run of the parts department so if you ever need any parts they are pretty easy to acquire. It is all speculation as to how many were produced annually but the generally accepted number between 2000 and 3000. Based on research done by acquaintances of mine for the model year of 1995 they were producing 3 per day. It was never clear to me if that was 5 days a week or 7 and whether or not they worked holidays but worst case (or best depending on your opinion) there should be no more than 1100 of this model year in existence (365x3=1095) Since I drive this truck nearly every day please assume it will have 150,000 miles on it when you pick it up. This truck started out as a 1995 Ford F-150 Super Cab Eddie Bauer Edition before Centurion started modifying it.It has the 5.8L 351 Gasoline V-8Automatic Transmission4 Wheel Drive8" Superlift Suspension LifeDual Fuel Tanks37" BF Goodrich Radial All-Terrain TA/KO tires with less than 10,000 miles on them.K&N Air filterDual Air-Conditioning (Please note the front air works great but I believe the rear air needs a fan. To be safe assume front air is perfect and rear is broken)Removable Rear Roof (The fiberglass "Bronco Shell") There is some nice custom wood work that Centurion did in this vehicle.....The dashboard has some wood trim, the doors have wood with Centurion logos etched in them, the handles above the doors have nice wood, and probably the nicest touch are the compartments on either side of the 3rd row seat. Both sides of the second row "flip and fold" so that people in the 3rd row can exit from either side of the vehicle. The 3rd row seat folds flat and can be used as a bed. The front bucket seats show some wear but also have the custom centurion logo sewn into the headrests. The grill is a custom combination of the two grills available at that time....others were either all chrome or all painted...this one is a chrome grill with painted insets. I was able to locate a custom running board made only by Centurion to match the ford offerings for other smaller trucks/SUV's of it's time like the Explorer. Spare tire is stowed underneath which is much more convenient than most SUV's that put the spare inside the rear storage area of the vehicle. The front bucket seats adjust most directions manually but they do have power lumbar switches to inflate/deflate the lumbar area for the driver and passengers comfort. Registration is paid through May, 2013 Has dual sun visors on each side (illustrated in one of the pictures) so you can block the sun on both the front and side windows at the same time. I just had the vehicle serviced at a Valvoline quick lube location near my home a week or so ago and they gave it a clean bill of health other than they said the serpentine belt should be done next time so I told them to go ahead and replace it. I always run Synthetic fluids in the engine, transmission, rear end, and brake fluid (Yes Valvoline has a synthetic brake fluid which is good to 500 degrees rather than the 300 or so that conventional is good to). Please feel free to ask me any questions and I will do my best to respond to all of them within 24 hours. I feel this truck is in very good condition for a 1995 model year but it is in no way brand new. Please study the pictures and if you want any additional ones please let me know. There are a few dents/lines at the rear on the drivers side that for some reason fo not come out very well in the pictures but there is a little body damage there. There are certain areas that these vehicles start to rust after a while (even out here in California). Those two locations are at the top of the tailgate (bottom of the back window) and a few inches in front of where the fiberglass Bronco Cap attaches and I have tried to give you pictures of both of those areas. Again, this vehicle is by no means new but I feel for a 1995 it is in pretty good shape. I am willing to consider a trade if it includes either a diesel C-350, a 6 Door Pickup truck, or a CNG P71 Ford Crown Victoria. Thank you for looking and please realize if you bid that you are signing a contract and I am required to produce the vehicle and you are required to produce the money. I am willing to deliver this vehicle anywhere in the US or Canada (except Hawaii) for $1.00 per mile plus the air fare home. I am also willing to pick you up at either LAX, John Wayne(SNA), Long Beach or LA Ontario if you are flying in.....make this a vacation....We are only 15 minutes from Disneyland in CA so you could fly out, pick up the Centurion, and take it to Disneyland (or the beach) before you head back
