Vehicle Detail

Selling our family heirloom! As the pictures show, this is a rare color (Bahama Blue) low miles retractable hard top convertible Mercedes SLK 380 Kompressor model. If you don't know, that means it is SUPERCHARGED. It is WICKED fast, but has NOT been abused. (I know it is fast because I used it to rush someone to a hospital in it in an emergency.) If you have looked for one of these cars, you know that often, the interiors are shot. Take a look at the photos. As you can see, ours is nice. We just had it detailed inside and out. The car currently has 87,489 original miles. This car has been serviced by our Mercedes dealer in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and is current on both "A" and "B" service. Our family are the second owners, (my wife and adult daughter). (Bought it on eBay in Michigan, from the original owner.) This car has never had a major accident. It did have light front bumper and grill damage from a side swipe collision (idiot ran a red light and hit my wife). However, the air bags were not blown, and it was only about $2500 damage, which was repaired by a Mercedes authorized body shop. If I didn't mention this, you would never know as the damage was erased by the repair and is not reflected in the title work. It has a cassette radio that works but needs replaced with a modern CD player. It also has a built in car phone that is obsolete. (I am just honest. See my 100% rating with eBay.) Because thiis car has been garage kept, and usually parked at the far end of parking lots, it probably has less than usually expected dings for a 14 year old car, but it isn't perfect. I would personally rate it at a solid 8+ on a scale of 1 to 10, in overall cosmetic condition. It is still a head turner and most people guess it as a MUCH newer car. If you buy this car, you will get it in clean condition, with a full tank of gas. It has four good tires, but as a bonus I will throw in four more tires at no extra charge. We hate to part with this car, but the money is going to help my daughter start a business. So it is true luxury that we can live without. On May-30-12 at 17:19:41 PDT, seller added the following information: I am adding the following revisions. First, I wanted to make sure everyone knows the model. (I think it is obvious, but wanted to make sure.) This is an SLK 230 Kompressor, which is, as I understand it, an SL 380 model. Second, I just noticed that the title report says that there was/were owners prior to the guy we bought the car from in Michigan. News to me, but there it is. None of this changes the remainder of the listing. Just wanting to be 100% honest. Thanks again for your interest.
