Convertible weather is here! 1983 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce. NO RESERVE 113,000 original miles. 2.0L Bosch fuel injected engine. Smooth shifting (for an Alfa) 5-speed transmission. Black exterior, Brown/Tan interior. Seats are in really nice condition. Power windows & mirrors. No radio. It's not real pretty (lots of little dents & dings and the top is a little worn), but it runs and drives. It's a fun little weekend car. The engine has a couple minor leaks, and it has developed a weird hesitation at higher RPMs that I haven't been able to figure out. This is an A/C car, but the compressor belt is not hooked up and I don't know if it works or not. The speedometer reads about 15 mph high. I have collector car insurance on it which exempts it from emissions tests, so I don't know if it will pass or not. Low Blue Book (Fair Condition) is around $4,100 near as I can tell. Shipping is the sole responsibility of the purchaser. $200 deposit required within 48 hours of auction end. I reserve the right to end the auction early as the car is offered for sale locally as well. Just trying to think of all it's little quirks: Top is beginning to show it's age, but it's not too bad. The dash and console have a few cracks and the heater & AC knobs are missing. The door panels are not factory and have water stains from rain leaking past the window seals. It has a push button starter to the left of the steering wheel. The tailpipe is straight-cut rather than turn-down, so you get some exhaust smell in the cabin. The tread on one of the tires is getting pretty low. It has a shimmy at highway speeds and the front brakes have started making noise, so it will need new pads and the tires balanced.
