1976 Triumph Spitfire 1500 History (as I know it) Purchased in 2007 from ebay. This car has been totally restored, including the following: new piston rings, new camshaft new valves new spark plugs new battery new muffler new pistons new crankshaft new connecting rods new cylinders new engine bearings new timing belt new distributor new carburetor new oil pump new alternator new wheel bearings new tires new exterior paint job new indshield wipers added Sony cd player entire cooling system flushed and replaced The original odometer was damaged beyond repair and a used odometer was installed showing 35K plus miles. Since rebuild this car has only been driven 758 miles. The vast majority of the time, this car has been in storage in a garage. This car was just recently for sale on ebay. The car was sold, however, ebay's security force discovered the high bidder was a scam artist. This is the reason why this car is being listed again. PLEASE, only serious and legitimate bidders.
