Up for auction I have an ULTRA SUPER RARE 1 OF 2000 MADE IN 1988 Mitsubishi Cordia Turbo Body RUNNING on a non turbo 2.0L engine. 1988 was also the last year they made the Cordia. I had purchased this car in Seattle (yes Seattle, minimal rust because they don't salt the roads over there!!!) in order to convert it into a race car. Due to the hard times I need to get sell it. The body is in pretty good shape for the year. I drove the car here from Seattle when it had the turbo motor. The ecu fried the next day here in Illinois. Long story short, The car sat in the garage for two years (up until last summer/fall) with the motor pulled ready to do my 4G63 DSM/Eclipse motor swap. My other 87 Cordia (yes, I had two at one point) was rusting to pieces (Illinois car = RUST) and it had to go (The 87 Cordia motor had about 75k original miles on it at the time by the way). I had a Mitsubishi Eclipse transmission lying around and figured if I was going to swap the Cordia Motor over I might as well attempt to fit the Eclipse trans as well since I would be doing it anyways. After some finessing I had the trans and motor bolted up to the shell and I've been driving it ever since. The trans will grind if you don't shift it kindly. (like I said it was a spare trans that I had lying around, the trans is fine for daily driving, racing is a different story, I'll grind it once in a blue moon). I also do have the other right rear alloy wheel that is not pictured (I got a flat recently). The car is in pretty good shape for being an 88 it's not perfect (bodywise) but with a little work can be a pretty awesome car. Interior is in excellent shape for the year no tears in the seats or anything like that. The motor runs perfectly with no issues whatsoever the timing belt was done last spring plugs and wires were recently done as well.
