Up for bid is my custom 1967 volkswagen vw bug rat rod hot rod. Also known as a volksrod. It is 100% street legal and rust free. Here is a complete video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbCokSZvFkQ. It does have a clear clean title that is ready for the new owner. This car always draws attention, photos, questions and crowds wherever it goes. It is a local car show favorite amongst volkswagen and other rat rods and hot rods. The car does have a custom professionally fabricated 8-inch from beam extension. Disc brakes upfront as well as drop spindles with chevy 5-bolt pattern spacers pushing 17-inch billet aluminum wheels front and back. The car has a custom shaved hood, decklid and doors with an alarm and drivers' door popper. Interior consists of a custom wheel, custom fuel gauge, touch screen mp3 dvd player stereo with subs, mids and tweets. All lights, signals and gauges work. There is also an electronic heater for those cold winter days and nights if needed under the dash. The motor is a 1914/1915cc with a fresh 44 weber, new as follows: Exhaust, header, fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel lines, air filter, jets, oil, distributor, condenser, points, cap, rotor, throttle cable, pushrod tubes, etc. The timing, valves and heads have all been set, adjusted and re-torqued. It can do 90mph with no problem and handle great. I have receipts for new parts and work completed for the new owner. Insurance is $100 a year through Grundy and you never have to go through emissions. You couldn't build this car for my reserve price. Don't forget to checkout the video.
