I am getting a newer van and offering an economical option for someone needing a reliable van to transport a wheelchair. This van has a Braun Entervan Conversion. Side entry with lowered floor to accommodate even large power wheelchairs comfortably. It has TWO EZ Locks in both the driver and passenger positions! The power folding ramp and door work flawlessly every time. The van has only 60,000 actual true miles on it. It starts runs and drives fine. The A/C blows cold. AM/FM CD and Cassette & Criuse Control all work as they should. There are two sets of switches for the door/ramp inside and one key switch outside fender. The only problems that I am aware of are a slight gasoline leak somewhere. I have taken it to be looked at and the mechanic was not able to find it. When the tank is filled, you can smell gas a bit. It's not overpowering, and it seems to go away after the tank goes down some, but I did want to mention it. Just recently, I have noticed that when I turn hard right something (sounds like the inner plastic piece of the wheel well around the tire) is rubbing. That is my guess, as I am not physically able to check it. It only happens when it is turned hard right. I am almost certain it is something very minor for an ABP (able bodied person). The other ?issue? is - for my convenience I took out the passenger seat and put it in the garage. My garage is in Missouri! I am planning a trip home and could bring it back to Houston, but I do not have it here now. If buyer wants the passenger seat it is available at no additional cost, but it will be in August when I return for school. The van does have Kneel and Remote Entry - BUT, these features are not working. Everything is fully accessable without them working. Finally, the carpet in the center of the van came lose and was troublesome for me so I had it taken up. It has no rips or tears. It IS included with the van, but if it is going to be used with a wheelchair it will need to be glued down. I have driven the van to and from the University every day and have never had any other issues with it. If the van does not sell by the end of May, I will drive it home (1000 miles) and list it for sale there. Serious local cash offers only please. ($300) The Eagle Polished Rims are 15" ($1000 in 2009) Matching Michelin Tires have thousands of miles left. I would say 95% Tread ($600) The paint is good. No faded or peeling at all. This is a great deal for someone that needs a mobility van but cannot afford a newer one. I felt blessed to find it when I needed one so badly and am hoping I can pass it on to someone else now that I have gone into serious debt for a newer model! I have not had any mechanical issuse with the van at all. The van has been mostly garage kept until I came to Houston last year.
