Vehicle Detail

surplus_stuff Store This is a great opportunity to purchase a fine classic car 1971 MGB Roadster with Overdrive Transmission . Mechanically, this car has been continuously well-maintained and serviced professionally and still retaining most of it’s original parts and components. The engine starts right up and runs smoothly with good oil pressure reading 75-80% while running. It has excellent pick up, idles very smoothly. There is no smoke or uses any oil Carburetors have been recently overhauled and calibrated . This car features the highly desirable overdrive transmission , which is in perfect working order. Transmission works great, it shifts well in all gears with no grinding. Overdrive engages and disengages promptly without any hesitation . There are no oil leaks. I recently replaced the rear break cylinders, installed new rear brake shoes, rebuilt the front calipers, and replaced the rear axle straps and the shock absorber links. The speedometer should be checked and calibrated . It shows 12687 miles which probably turned over once . Turn signal switch works, however, the high/low beam switch is not working. Although this beauty is not in showroom condition, the body is in excellent condition. Parts of the car have been repainted and it has the usual small scratches and dings as any car that is 40 years old would have. The body is straight and clean. All doors, hood and trunk close properly, lining up nicely with the body. There have been no accidents and there are no visible rust or rust bubbles. Chrome and trim is in good condition with no rust . Interior is still in nice original condition. Seats are in great shape with no rips or tears. Carpet is original and shows normal wear and tear. Dash has been repaired and looks good. Door panels are showing their age as you can see in the pictures. Top is old and it will need to be replaced. Having the top up was not a priority, and I cannot remember the last time it was up. Trunk is clean with no rust and it has the original spare wire wheel, jack and wheel wrench.
