Vehicle Detail
1941 Packard 110 Special Club Coupe Up for bid is a very nice driver that is ready to be enjoyed by a new owner. The 110 Special Club Coupe is a rare car today and hard to find in good running condition. The 110 Special came with a back seat. This car represents a great original color combo and is in stock condition. The car has 69 miles put on since many of the restoration been completed. The original miles are unknown. Owned for the last three years the car was purchased from the son of the former owner who had died. This former owner did much of the work on the car over an extended period of time. Great driver quality car. Please read on for more particulars of the car: Body/Paint: The paint was done 25 years ago with the paint showing signs of age, but still very presentable as a driver. When the car was painted it was body off frame with the frame completely restored while the body was being worked on. Original body panels used including the fenders. The paint is the original two tone silver using single stage paint. The underside looks like new. The entire car was rewired with OEM kits. Interior: Restored to original specs in new condition. New carpet, seat covers and headliner. The dash and steering wheel is pretty much original and shows signs of ware, but still presentable. Special Features/Options: Restored running boards, automatic choke, 6 volt positive ground, electric wipers, under seat heater (not installed, but comes with car), fog lamp comes with car, but not installed on the front bumper. Bright work: Grille, water falls, bumpers are rechromed and beautiful. Other stainless and chrome parts are original and show ware or some pitting. Running Gear: Less than 100 miles on the engine rebuild. The transmission and rear end have been overhauled and work as they should. Original flathead six with the rare 3 speed manual Electromatic option including overdrive. Suspension: Original and rebuilt to original condition. Brakes/Exhaust: The brakes have been completely gone through and are in good working order. The exhaust is new with original style muffler. Glass: Looks to be original and in excellent condition with tinting. Wheels/Tires: The wheels and hub caps are original in excellent condition. A fifth 110 cap comes with the car. No spare. Original jack, lug wrench and stand come with the car. The tires are original type for the car and new, but purchased in the 80’s, but in excellent condition with no checking as the car has always been stored indoors. 15 inch wells with 4 ½ inch white walls. Summary: The car represents and excellent example of a 100 Special that can be driven and enjoyed. Not a show car, but very respectable considering how rare they are. A few things need to be addressed or finished on the car. Hood rubber bumpers, hood welting and still plates are missing and do not come with the car. A very worthy rare Packard at a reasonable price. Don’t let this car pass you buy. I have over 80 pictures of the car so please contact me and provide your email address if you would like additional pictures. Disclaimer: The car is for sale locally. The owner has the right to cancel the auction at any time for any reason. No warranties or guarantees are expressed or implied with the car being sold in "AS IS" condition. Feel free to call me to discuss the particulars. Gary 509 993 6918
