This is a 1977 Porsche 911 Targa that has had a Renegade Hybrids SBC conversion. Currently it's insured and tagged and it can be driven daily but should be considered a project. The body is straight and almost free of rust, but has it's share of nicks and scratches. It was painted about 5 years ago. The most notable problem is where the steel wide-body fenders were mended on it is beginning to bubble. The targa top leaks a little if left out....probably just needs a new seal. The interior is all there, but it is old. The only thing I have had done is reupholster the original front seats. Has an Alpine CD player. Most of the gauges don't work currently, but I've seen them work at one time...so I think they just need to be reconnected. Wheels are from a mid 90's Porsche 993 (I think) and painted black. Tires have a little mileage left in them, but will probably need new ones by the end of Summer. Motor is a 1968 Chevrolet 327 small block with the double hump heads. I believe it was rated at 350HP when new. I bought the motor recently. We went through it with new gaskets, seals and fluids but it was not rebuilt. Motor sounds very nice and has plenty of power. The parts to do the conversion cost $4285 from Renegade Hybrids and that doesn't even include the motor or the hours involved in doing the conversion.
