I bought this VW beetle to restore from the ground up. I am too busy to get involved with this so I have decided to sell it. The car ran around two years ago. The images speak for themselves. The sale is 'as is'. Local sales only. Update on the model year: I researched the VIN number (4870778).on SAMBA.COM and according to the Volkswagen Manufacturer Date this would put the actual date of manufacture of this VW Beetle in August of 1962. The last unit manufactured in August of 1962 was VIN number 4 932 385, the last unit manufactured in July of 1962 was VIN number 4 854 999.
