I've got a 1990 nissan 300zx 2+2. automatic transmission, 160k miles. first off i want to start off by saying the car has a bad frame. it has rust and holes everywhere in the frame. part of the right side of the exhaust is missing also. I bought it in February from a kid that told me It needed a crank angle sensor and injectors, and assured me that although the body does have some rust spots that need fixed, the frame is solid. After I towed it home, my mechanic replaced pretty much every part of the engine except for the crank angle sensor and injectors, as in new mass air flow sensor, (new battery also, brand new), all new vacuum seals and hoses, new coils, way too many parts to list.....got it running, smooth and strong, no slips or misses. then we put it on the lift to see how the underneath of the car was lookin, found out the whole entire frame is shot. Basically i got ripped off. so now im just trying to make some money back out of something i dumped a ton of money into and can never drive because of the frame. I was going to re-do the interior. rust on the rear passenger side tire well, and also on the rocker panels on each side. front bumper needs clipped back on, its not all the way on, and thats about it.
